While traveling at a speed set by you, it uses radar to maintain a safe distance from the car ahead. When your Hyundai slows down to 6 mph or less, the cruise control automatically turns off. The cruise control also intelligently reactivates if the vehicle in front of you starts moving again within three seconds of stopping.
Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist
If your Hyundai detects a vehicle in your blind spot while your turning signal is on, it will alert you with an audio and visual warning and automatically apply the breaks if necessary.

What's under the hood of the 2022 Tucson?
Hyundai continues to provide drivers with a ton of power with the 2022 Tucson. Most trims come with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out an impressive 190 horsepower and 185 lb-ft of torque, which mates with an eight-speed automatic transmission. As usual with Hyundai vehicles, there is also a hybrid variant. The hybrid is a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine with an electric motor and delivers 226 horsepower with 258 lb-ft of torque. The plug-in hybrid option is a touch more powerful as it can make an astounding 260 horsepower. Both the hybrid and the plug-in hybrid also use an eight-speed automatic.

We sure can! The Hyundai Tucson has always been known for its impressive tech, and the 2022 version is no different. Most will come with an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while higher trims see a 10.25-inch touchscreen. Another piece of valuable tech is that you can start your Tuscon with your phone on several Android devices that have near-field communication technology. One of the best things about the Tucson is the number of safety features it has with such advanced systems as lane keeping assist, lane centering assist, and forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection. There is also an available Blind-Spot Monitor which can tap the brakes if you enter a lane with another vehicle traveling in it. The system can even stop the car if it spots a pedestrian in the road.
