The Sonata now comes standard with a new 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that pumps out 191 horsepower and boasts a combined 32 mpg, which comes out to 28 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway. The SEL Plus and the Limited, on the other hand, are powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that pushes out 180 horsepower. All versions come paired with front-wheel-drive and use an 8-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC.
